Halls Head are off to positive start to the season in the Wyllie Cup getting a first up win against Secret Harbour Dockers Cricket Club in their A Grade debut at Peelwood Reserve. Jake Wyllie with the The Lazy Crab player of the round with a stylish 64 at the top of the order Supported ably by Jack Manuel 40 and Chris Phelps setting Secret Harbour a total of 202 in their first A Grade chase. In reply Secret Harbour crumbled to be 2/16 early before a steadying knock by Dockers batsman Ash North scoring 72 having his side within sights of a stunning victory. Chris Phelps 2/27 the pick of the bowlers entered the attack late picking up a wicket with his 2nd delivery to send shudders through the SHDCC. Joe Slade on debut for Halls Head was impressive finishing with 1/27 from his 10 overs, Scott Martin, Lochie Kinna we also amongst the wickets.
